This document presents an executive summary of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) of Ambato, Ecuador.
The incorporation of the concept of sustainability into the Urban Mobility Plan of the canton of Ambato seeks to promote structural changes in mobility in order to make Ambato more inclusive, livable and efficient in all of its urban and rural territories.
The executive summary includes the main findings of the mobility diagnosis, the challenges and opportunities of the SUMP, the scenarios elaborated, the action plan with factsheets for each measure, and finally the financial analysis.
