Become an Institutional Partner

The Partnership welcomes new institutional partners. By becoming a partner, you will directly support cities and countries to decarbonise urban transport. Supporting the Partnership can take different forms:

Donors: our funds to support cities and countries currently come from the European Union and the governments of France and Germany
Implementing partners: they provide our city and country members with technical assistance to elaborate Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans and National Urban Mobility Policies or investment programme
Knowledge and Network partners: they are internationally- or regionally-operating or country-focused not-for-profit organizations, institutions, think tanks, affiliated technical assistance programs or other organizations associated with the MobiliseYourCity Partnership

A diverse partnership for greater impact

Today, the Partnership has over 70 member cities with a combined population of over 129 million people in more than 33 countries, and we have 16 member countries. With 54.7 million euros to support mobility planning (SUMPs and NUMPs) in over 32 cities and 9 countries, the projects completed until December 2023 have mobilised more than 1.75 billion euros for concrete sustainable mobility projects.

By assisting cities and countries in the planning and implementation of effective measures to decarbonize urban transport, the Partnership supports the goals set forth under the UNFCCC dialogue and many urban-related goals specified in the New Urban Agenda as well as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We also support countries in meeting their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) targets by reducing GHG emissions.
