Fundamentos de los tipos de datos y métodos de recogida para el diagnóstico de la movilidad urbana

MobiliseYourCity Partnership

comments

Understanding urban mobility is the first thing cities need to do when planning for urban mobility. Hence, it is essential to understand what data is required to conduct an evidence-based status quo analysis of your city’s mobility system, and what such a status quo looks like. The session will be concluded by discussing how to collect data after the covid-19 pandemic and the consequences of low-data environments for sustainable urban mobility planning.

In this year's first session of MobiliseYourCity's Mastering Mobility Series, Ferdinand Marterer from egis introduces the key role of an urban mobility diagnosis and why it’s essential to do one as part of an urban mobility planning process. The mobility expert will further give an overview of the most important types of mobility surveys and data needed to conduct an urban mobility diagnosis, followed by an introduction to the corresponding data collection methods. Facilitated by Mateo Gomez, the session concludes with a group discussion on the specifities of planning an urban mobility diagnosis for your city.
