"Driving Change: Adaptation Actions for Urban Mobility – Catalogue of Measures" provides a practical framework for integrating climate change adaptation into urban mobility planning, particularly in the Global South. The publication explains the risks posed by climate hazards to transport systems and outlines how Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs) can embed adaptation strategies. It introduces guiding principles for resilient urban planning and details a catalogue of “soft”, “green”, and “grey” measures, ranging from policy and behavioural actions to nature-based and engineered solutions. Each measure is linked to specific climate hazards, transport modes, costs, and implementation horizons, offering decision-makers a structured toolbox to enhance resilience, protect infrastructure, and ensure equitable, sustainable mobility. The report concludes with recommendations for scaling up adaptation through stakeholder engagement, resource allocation, monitoring, and supportive policies.
