Strategies to reduce driving and prioritize sustainable transport in cities
Congestion is a serious threat to the quality of life for citizens, causing poor air quality, stress and significant time loss. Hence,this report introduces and evaluates ways that cities can tackle these traffic related issues, such as pricing parking, pricing emissions, pricing congestion, and reallocating road space for people.
While these strategies are sometimes considered separate from one another, this report underscores the benefits of implementing multiple strategies together to maximize impact and reduce potential challenges.
