1. Description :

Within the development of the SUMP Türkiye program, a total of 8 face-to-face and 36 online trainings are prepared to be developed during a timeframe of 2,5 years. In those trainings, which have been prepared with a global approach, you can reach the most up-to-date technical issues that need to be known in SUMP Türkiye applications and national and international success examples that we have discussed and evaluated with different experts. The aim of the training program is to increase the knowledge and skills of municipalities and related institutions in the field of Sustainable Urban Mobility / Transportation Planning and to facilitate the sharing of experience by strengthening the relations between them.

2. Objectives

  • Present the road safety situation in countries where MobiliseYourCity works and selected cities.
  • Identify how to incorporate road safety in the different stages of the SUMP cycle.
  • Introduce examples of actions that have been included in SUMPs developed by MobiliseYourCity.
