Sustainable urban mobility plan for Poltava
The Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan is part of the Poltava-2030 vision, an integrated development plan that aims to transform Poltava into a livable urban and a powerful regional centre integrated into the national and global economy. Poltava’s SUMP focuses on the following aspects: ecological sustainability, strengthening the city’s economy, increasing tourism attractiveness, promoting a healthy lifestyle and a city that values and supports the elderly.
The Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan for Poltava has been delivered by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in cooperation with Poltava City Council through the Integrated urban development in Ukraine project, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and Swiss Federation State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
