A presentation of the latest resources to electrify public transportation.

During this year’s MobiliseYourCity Global Forum, we presented the latest resources developed by EBRD, GIZ, UEMI, UN Habitat and UITP to equip mobility practitioners and decision makers with the needed skills to electrify public transportation.  

Electric bus adoption is on the rise, globally. However, this trend is still being mostly observed in China and some European countries. Many cities and countries in the Global South have also started the electrification of their bus fleets, but these efforts are still limited to pilot projects and low-scale acquisitions.  

Many of these projects are being supported by international development organizations. They have gathered the expertise on the ground and their knowledge on this rapidly evolving technology. Explore the various ways we can support you electrify public transportation!
