This report maps existing research and identifies specific gaps for further investigation in paratransit and shared mobility, two important parts of urban transport systems.

For paratransit, there have been numerous efforts around the world to improve operations, using different approaches to enhance outcomes for passengers, workers, and owners. Shared mobility, on the other hand, has grown rapidly with the creation of new technologies and has proven to catalyse change in urban mobility systems.

In this light, the study examines existing research and knowledge gaps in the paratransit and shared mobility sector, by exploring current service impacts, transportation management, and paratransit improvement.
